A doctor is faced with the dilemma of treating the husband of the woman he had loved deeply. The story appears to be inspired from the Indian movie Dil Ek Mandir and thus offers an opportunity to study the subtle differences in the treatment of the same subject by two contemporary societies, revealing some subtle differences between the value systems that were being evolved in those societies in the 1960s.
